haha,
a little bit of info for those didn't read my previous whining-about-my-life threads :):
1) went to school, work, party in Cali
2) left everything behind for a 'job' in Missouri
3) dying to go back

now, my friend in Cali said he has a friend who bought a dog in Missouri; the shipping charge is about 200 something dollars for that dog to fly to Ca. So instead she will offer me $100-$150 if I can bring the dog 'home.'

should I do should i do???? :) :) :) omgomgomgmo, I am sooo excited.

more info: I have nothing to do now until [strikeout]July[/] August coz I am just waiting replies from job interviews.

[edit]
oh no, i am not leaving my job for it. (kinda complicated story) I am NOT working now, and I just helping out my dad's friend. (and that's why I am here in MO the first place)

Why did you drop everything for a job you don't even like (assuming thats part of the reason you want to go back)?

And what kind of a position are you leaving? I might know somebody who'd be interested. Heck, if it's computer related, I might be interested :D (I live in St. Louis)

San Francisco to St. louis = 2000 miles.
The return trip = 2000 more miles.

Average car gets,say 25mpg.

4000/25 = 160 gallons of gas.

At $2/gallon, that's $320 just for gas to drive the dog to California, not to mention 4 days of your time. Sure, go ahead and do it for $100.

i just didn't know. I kinda want to get out of Cali becasue I was having too much fun, I knew I am not gonna graduate anytime soon if I stayed there. so I came here to MO for a change, hoping I can get my act straight.

I calculated that part already

I am at Springfield, and from there to Los Angeles is also 2000 miles (or a bit less)
my car gets 32-34 mpg. and gas is about 1.79 from here up to New Mexico, and 2.20 from Arizona to Cali. so average 2 dollars then.

my last trip I spend about 130-150 each way. so about 300 buck plus spending cost while in Cali (which will be much more than MO). Since I wanted to go back anyways, that 100 bucks for the dog delivery is somewhat a bonus. and I have no obligation and free to go.
