So I'm outside reading the paper when I notice one of our pepper plants looks different...a lil' sparse. Just yesterday it was full of leaves and spicy hot thai peppers were coming in nicely. Today they're all gone. WTF?? Upon, closer inspection of one of the peppers, I realized this large leafy thing was actually the culprit...a giant caterpillar.

It's a tomato worm! Those things are pretty cool; they are all fat, squishy and docile. It's fun to feed them to garden spiders, but they are so fat you need to lay them in the web gently or else they fall through.

I saw one of those as a moth the other day. My cat was going crazy over it.

Eat it - I bet he's really spicy.

Yes, but make sure you eat him whole.... if you just bite the head off juiciness will squirt out the tailpipe!

Also, let him wriggle on your tongue before chomping down for extra goodness!
