This board doesn't have SATA II. It's based on the nForce4 chipset, which has the same feature set as the nForce3 Ultra, but with PCI-Express support and no AGP support.

ahh i see. For a min there i thought i should have waited because i just bought an Nforce3 Ultra 2 weeks ago. Only reason i went with it was because it had an AGP slot. Didnt want to buy a new graphic's card. =D

this is the stripped version of Nforce 4. Bascially this model is kind of pointless and youd be better off with a nforce 3. the nforce 4 ultra and SLI are good and thats what you want :)

Unless you want a 6600 GT pci-E.

Also from what I am hearing there won't be a whole lot of support for the AGP in the next couple years. Also chances are from now on PCI-E versions will be released before the AGP versions(6600GT for example). Also ATI currently doesn't have a budget card thats comparable to the 6600GT.

I was gonna buy a AGP 6600GT but decided to just get a 9700 pro to use for a couple months and then just go NF4. That way I can get a 6600GT or maybe even a X700 and then not have to worry about upgrading for a couple years(besides the video card of course).

^Sniper^:

There'll be more options; as soon as the new X800s and X850s come out, there should be a drop in X800 price.
