Basically, see the subject. Starting last week, I was playing CS and my optical mouse just died on me. I had to pull it out of hte USB huba nd plug it back in. It worked fine, then tonight it's doing it again. It will just quit working and I have to plug it back in again, and it works. Anyone else seen this?

if you call MS, they will overnight you a new one. you don't even have to send back the broken one...

the phone number is somewhere in the help files that were installed when you installed the drivers for the mouse...

no it is much longer than 3 months (i think hardware is 5 years)... just call em. i got a new one after about 8 months...

MIcroHard is great about the mouse...They won't overnight it, but they do send it airborne express when its in stock...they are great to deal with. You get to keep the defective mouse as well.

Can anyone confirm that warrenty? I can't find it in the help file, but I will call probably tomorrow.

i did and they are taking forever sending it. the mouse has USB probs so switch it back to ps2 and see if it fixes it

hold the mouse. Wiggle the cord at the end connecting to the mouse. If the mouse starts working when you wiggle the cord, call them. Dats what their rep had me do. & my little headlight on the Explorer would go blink - blink blink - blink along with every little nudge of the cord @ the mouse end.
