OMG, my ears feel like they're going to burst!

I just took a fast and frenzied ride to my nearest gas station to fill up my bike's tires with their pump. It's about a 5-minute bike ride away, and it's about 36 degrees out. After the round trip, my ears feel like they're going to burst open! Ohhhhhhhhhh, it hurts...I need sympathy.

My ears feel like they are gonna blow too. But then I have been fighting a cold all weekend and blowing my nose rather hard.
 
My ears have never hurt like this before, but I think the speed of the trip has something to do with it. I went from warm (inside my place) to cold and windy (bike) to no wind (while filling up tires) to windy (return trip on bike) to warm (my place).

The pain is dying down now though. 😀
 
Perhaps you could get some ear muffs or a knit cap even. Just something to keep you from being thinned out by natural selection. 😉

I was going to wear ear protection but I didn't have an ear band, and my hat wouldn't fit under my bike helmet.
