<< Did he got laid off or fired? There's a difference there. If he got fired (for violating company policy, etc) he may not be entitled to a severance package. If he got laid off, then a severance package should be in order.. if not, he should talk to a lawyer. >>
He got fired due to job cuts, not fraud or any other sh|t, so there is no severance package. My Dad isn't worrying, he made a lot at Sun, over 6 figures so he saved a whole crapload of money because he new that they were firing ppl and he had a instinct that he was next bc of his a$$hole boss. Thank god my Dad is a smart guy.......🙂
