Unforgiven is like the worst song they ever recorderd. Hetfield sounds like a sick cow. Yuck. Love the old stuff. Some of the new stuff is OK. It's not as bad as a lot of people make it out to be. Put Load up against any "old" metal like Iron Maiden, Priest, Sabbath, etc, and Load is still faster and heavier...it's just not as fast as Metallica used to be so people don't like it. <shrug>

i will say, i saw metallica live last weekend and it was hands-down the best show i've ever been too. metallica live is better than anything off any of their albums.

LOL...Lars is the drummer, James is the singer, when attempting to rip on something you should really be a little more informed so you don't look like a TOTAL idiot. And to say they are a few dbags yelling into a microphone is just plain ignorant as well. Have you actually heard them play?

The Black Album as a whole I thought was alright, much better than anything after it. I just don't, personally, think that anything after And Just For All can compare to the first 4 albums. Which I think is evident in the choice of songs for Metallica's setlist for the Summer Sanitarium Tour. They played what.. 3 songs that were from albums AFTER the Black, a few of the better ones from the Black, and everything else was pre-Black. What a fantastic conert that was, and I was lucky enough to go twice with backstage passes! Probably the best(and luckiest) concert summer I ever had. Hrm.. now that I'm thinking about Metallica I should delete all my mp3's and rerip 'em.. so many are bad quality.. Need more quality!

Actually Lars is the drummer. The lead singer's name is James.

A couple things need to be addressed here....Hey Dumbass the Lead singers name in Metallica is Jamez not Lars dip$hit. I also agree the GNR sucks donkey balls....
