Most Caribbean countries were occupied by the British, so they adopted English as one of their language (main language in most of the countries I think, not sure). But they have a thick accent, so its sounds a bit different. Ever talked to someone from Trinidad? This guy I know is from Trinidad, and I can?t understand a word he?s saying, most of the time.
I believe that what they mean by Caribbean English.
