Nice looking bike. Tempted, but if I don't get that ST1300, I'm gonna hear it from my wife. She's tired of riding on the back of a sports bike.

Hell yes, a trend I'm glad to see. Notice the exhaust underneath the seat, looks sooo much better.

rear view

edit: Holy crap, 180 horsepower?:Q
edit: The exterior design hasn't changed much. It's still the sexiest sport bike on the market.
edit: A trend I'm not so glad to see, the fairing seems to shrink on each subsequent redesign to the metal. If I wanted a semi-naked bike I'd get a sport tourer or a *shudder* Buell. The side fairing should extend farther back toward the seat, not just cover the front of the engine. IMO, it would look nicer if it matched up to the curved chassis structure below the seat, by the swingarm.

Huge markup on the first ones... there's been a lot of preorders at my local yamaha for this bad boy... no problems selling it above MSRP... i'm happy with a teeny 600... since insurance will rip me a new one for being a college student. :(

I don't think you'll have a problem with it... maybe your passenger will though. :D
