hey i set my voltage in the bios to 1.37 but in cpuz my voltage reads 1.160. what gives? all that thermal control and CE1 and EIST are disabled

i think my laptop 8710p with moded 8700M GT drivers would get higher. :X

I dunno. I was thinking about turning over my BFG 8800 (OC) GTS 640MB and getting an 8800 GT 512MB -- or maybe two of 'em. First for the lower power / higher performance and second -- so I could do SLI under that first regime.

I hadn't looked at the 8600, but they cannot be THAT bad.

Anyone have any idea if they'll ever produce a dual-GPU card with the new chips like they did with the 7950 GX2?

Nothing is wrong. That's the way they advertise it. For example, my card is advertised on eVGA's site as 1800mhz memory clock but shows up as 900mhz in Rivatuner (900 x DDR = 1800). I'm running it OCed @ 975 in Rivatuner so that would mean "1950" DDR
