I've done it quite a few times for employment tests, and they never tested for temperature at the doctors' offices that did it. Was cheaper to have a friend pee in a pill bottle than to buy a $20 or $30 vitamin brew. I'm sure if you're looking at a government job they might care a bit more, but most companies are just doing this to save a bit of insurance money and get the cheapest testers they can find. How would a plastic bottle affect the pH? I'd call you a dumbass in return, but I think it's pretty self-evident.
 
You are probably fine. A lot of employers test for drugs these days, smoking pot while unemployed is a bad idea. Many people will not believe you if you try and explain it away as a one time thing, kind of like "I only had two beers, officer."

I just got a private sector job and had to take a urine test. The lab tech checked the sample's temperature right in front of me. The plastic sample container had a built-in temperature strip.

As much as this should be true, it probably isn't, they sell stuff to clean out your system. A friend of mine had tried coke, bars, and smoke weed in the week before classes let out, had a drug test for work took the cleaner pills and some how managed to pass.

I wouldn't worry too much, just don't do it again if you think you made a mistake, and it might affect your job. Is drug testing as prevalent in Canada as it is in the US?

lol...if I were a smoker, I wouldn't worry too much. You had a smoke, so what...if you actually DO fail a test, it's not the end of your life. They're your choices, so live with them.

Remember, you can never live up to the ideals of ATOT. We're perfect.
 
A light smoke will dissappear in a few days. Drink alot of water and go running for a week if you are worried about it.

If you keep smoking fill a ziplock bag (double bag it) with a clean sample and use a HotHands (those little pads to keep your hands warm) to get sample to the desired temperature.
 
Dont be too dependent on those system cleaners! I bought this one for $40 that was double money back guaranteed and so I took it a couple of hours before the test and pissed a lot before the test and when the results finally came, I guess it turns out that I had almost fully cleaned myself out but they detected the drink so I lost a pretty good job there. It sucked because I followed the directions as exact as possible but I guess maybe I should have taken it an hour before or something. My sister in law was in a rush that day so I had to take it at that time, f*ckin bitch! Anyways if you dont get tempted to smoke anymore which you probably will, then you'll be ok if the test is at the end of the week or after. Good luck and smoke yourself a fatty when you get the job!

That might work but it all depends on if they are watching you, unless you have it taped to the inside of your leg with a tube hanging out!

Dude, you did nothing wrong.. People are calling you an idiot and implying that you f-cked up your life.. Did all of you guys watch reefer madness or some thing? Just don't go for a job interview for the next 2 days or so... It'll be a good week after that before they even test you... I just had a pretty hectic day and enjoyed a puff or two of the peace pipe... It's really not a big deal guys... It's not like heroin.
