Yeah so I went to my friend's house tonite 'round dusk...played football and watched some hockey (OMG FVCKING FLAMES GOT ROBBED THEY FVCKING SCORED IN 3RD PERIOD AND GOAL DIDN'T COUNT THEN TB WON OVERTIME FVCKIING BULLSIIT!!!!)

And somewhere between playing Texas Hold'em and setting off fireworks in the neighbor's yard I smoked pot. I haven't smoked in so long, I thought I was over that sh*t, but after that BC Canadian rye whiskey and homemade gin (OMG JUNIPER BERRIES R0X0RZ!!!) that weed hit me hard yo!!!

Was it smart to smoke up? I'm currently looking for a job (marketing or business analyst) they won't test my ass will they?

NOPE!!! If you are heavy user smoking several days a week THEN it will stay for a month. If its just an every once in a few months than it will only last a few days depending on the amount smoked. Trust me I used to be a weed spokesperson.

...drug testing is cheap and common these days..somewhere in everybodys future there's a drug test waiting..insurance companies offer steep discounts to employers who have pre-employment/random testing programs..and of course the administrators of testing programs want to test at every oppertunity. My employer even tests all promotional candidates..in addition to random/post accident/new hire...

Nothing wrong with what you did (in my opinion). Just stay clean for a bit and any test will most likely be fine.

Tweaker's right, you should be fine in a week & beyond, if you don't smoke any more. If you decide to go Rasta, you can always have a clean friend (if you have one ) go in a watertight container and pocket it when you walk into the test; then fill the cup with that instead of your own. Alternatively, head-shops sell stuff that you drink a few hours beforehand that will clean you up enough for the test, but by the end of the day you'll be back to testing positive. It's not the best-tasting stuff around, but it's not obscenely horrible either, and it does work - $20 or $30 for that, btw.
