OMG! Just realized there are two more books in the series

Over the past two months, I've read the first six books in the "Ender's Game" series by Orson Scott Card. I went onto a certain.. search site... and found a listing for eight books- I didn't know there were eight. I thought it stopped at Shadow of the Hegemon. Wow. There's two more, Shadow Puppets and Shadow of the Giant. I think OSC likes the shadow theme. And here I thought I'd never get pulled into a paperback science fiction series.

I can't wait to get them. I already tried that ....search site.... er.. yeah, but no love. Apparently the library system won't let me reserve it online because there's a problem with my library record. I hope I don't have something out still. I haven't used the card in a year or more, so it may be that.

Can't wait for next week to get these books. If anyone happens to 'have' them, I'd be interested.
 
I didn't read the shadow ones, but I read the xenocide/children of the mind series. They were pretty good, but not as good as the original.
 
I've only read Ender's Game => Speaker of the Dead, I didn't like that arc past that point. I did read Ender's Shadow => Shadow of the Hegemon, I might read more because that arc seems to be better.
 
I liked Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow. Didn't particularly care for the sequels. EDIT: By the way, they're making a movie of Ender's Game and Ender's Shadow combined (simply called "Ender's Game"). It'll probably be crap, but we'll see... EDIT2: Whoa, I just noticed your name is TitanDiddly... I always read it as TitanDaddy before.

I'm not sure, I have not read it myself. Now that I checked, there's also another small collection titled "First Meetings in Ender's Universe" out there. Will have to add it.

I felt the same way when I found out there was a new book called Shadow Puppets, but I DID NOT know about Shadow of the Giant!!!

Same here. I saw the two more books in the series and the only time I felt that way was the Ender series.
