OMG, just played LOTR: ROTK(the PC game)

Now that is what I call a fabolous game. For me, it's the game of the year. Of course, I might be biased because I'm a LOTR Fan but still, this graphics, the gameplay. Just astunning.

I played the demo, it was hard to play with the keyboard and mouse, you definitely need a gamepad for this one

Hmmm, I disagree. I got used to the mouse after about 10 minutes of playing it......got my azz kicked for so many times at first though, but then finished the demo. Nice graphics. If I didn't already have about 5 times more games than I have time to play I would have bought this when Best Buy had it for 29.99.

friend has it, its quite impressive for a fighting game.

wouldn't call it game of the year though, its probably in the top 10 of games i've seen. call of duty, max payne 2, simpsons hit and run, homeworld 2, nfs underground, halo... so many others🙂

Have this for my xbox and its the most immersive "put you in there" game I've played. Looks GORGEOUS on my 50" widescreen in progressive scan. The 5.1 Dolby is stunning too...it's almost movie quality. Best I've heard.

It absolutely wallops the TTT game. Co-op mode is great too because it turns into a competition ALWAYS 🙂 Tons of replay value!

The only downside is the horribly compressed video in it. Just wretched on my screen. God awful. Ugh. I always have to skip it.

I played the PC demo and didn't like the controls much. It's very much a gamepad game. It's also a tad funner when the screen is 700% larger w/ 5.1. 😉

Can't wait for EA's new LOTR strategy game though (coming out for PC). It runs on the C&C Generals engine with many improvements.

That game is awful. The camera is bad and so are the controls.
