I think this is going to be the longest day of the year.

My 8 year old son has the day off from school and is in the kitchen cooking his own breakfast, singing "ALL YOUR EGGS ARE BELONG TO US" at the top of his lungs while slopping molten eggs all over the stove.

It's raining hard today, so I can't send the kids outside.

*sigh*

I'm enjoying a hearty chuckle at your misery. Now, teach him "Bananaphone" in retribution.

LOL. Bryophyte I'm in for the same weather this weekend too and will have to endure my daughter's screaming at the top of her lungs several current hit tunes, my oldest son "rapping" to words that are either real or made up on the spot because he couldn't think of one to use, and my youngest begging me to buy Yugioh cards off the internet.

You are not alone.....;)

Teach him how it works "first you cook, then you clean", you can do something productive like polishing your shotgun while watching him clean it up. ;)

Why not? Getting wet isn't going to hurt them. Tell them it's a perfect day to play "Rain Forest". :)

nakedfrog: I not only have Bananaphone, but 58, that's right, FIFTY EIGHT Raffi songs. Good thing I kinda like Raffi. Come on, sing with me!

"Willoughby Wallaby Wee, an elephant sat on me
Willoughby Wallaby Woo, an elephant sat on you"
