:)

I thought rain was a null function as of late. Everything here is brown... even the trees are losing their leaves! Hopefully we'll get a few days of this. Certainly no drought-buster by any means, but at least it's something!

Anyone else affected by trends in the weather? I look out my window and now see the water getting wet! :)

Cheers!

too much rain and the ground can't absorb it and you get flooding. happy rain is good though.

We're getting some much needed rain right now. The paper this week had reported that the town only had 12 days of water left because of drought.

As much as we need it all I can think about is the misery of my commute home in this mess. Washington area drivers immediately aim for guardrails or other cars as soon as the pavement is wet.

Growing up in DC, I know what you mean. Half an inch of snow on the ground? City shuts down.

Now that I am a bit farther north, its not as bad. Course up here on Long Island, it can be raining like crazy and people still drive 20+ over the limit.

My prediction was right on. I drove all of 3 miles on my way home and saw a Saab nose first into a guardrail on the outer loop of the beltway at 2:35 in the afternoon. Fortunately all the rubberneckers had not yet had time to totally screw things up when I passed it.
