this eax stuff is insane...compared to the soundstorm which I was using via DD 5.1 it's like I am playing entirely new games
 
I sure hope Blu-Ray brings DVD-A quality audio to video games. Imagine Symphony of the Night soundtrack, fully orchestrated with DVD-A quality recording. Drool.

Digital sucks😛

To get REAL performance from the card using EVERYTHING such as EAX and such, you need to use analog out. In this case the card has 192/24 for the from stereo and 96/24 for the surrounds, which @ 108dB SNR is GRRRRRRREAT😀

Sorry I watch movies on my home entertainment system which my Harman Kardon receiver is a central part of. Perhaps one day I'll hook up my PC speakers to a separate receiver but not anytime soon.
