A co-worker went to walmart at midnight and picked one up, brought it in to work.
Initial thoughts - graphics are nice (ridge racer), control is good. I wish it was a little deeper in size to fit the hand better. It's heavy, but has a sense of fargility to it (look ma, I made up a new word).
What is cool is the fact that it's upgradable... bigtime, and you can "share" some games via networking and/or memory stick.
Uber toy? Yes.
