edit: im not saying the software is good. But in the vid it does work at the end w/o any more errors. The software was probably not meant to be used for programming. It seemed to do the windows commands fluidly

I was playing with the XP voice recognition software and as long as you speak clearly and FLUIDLY (as in, saying phrases is a lot better than saying individual words and letters), it picks up a good 90-95% of what you say. Now granted, I was writing an essay and not writing PERL... which probably had a lot to do with it.

I wouldn't code using dictation. That's just plain stupid.

Funny.... I have Vista, I just haven't installed it on any of my systems yet. XP works relatively well for what I do. I just doubt I would need the extra visial crap and the bells and whistles they've added.
