Must resist deal. Although I must admit I'm using onboard sound from my Epox 8kta3 and a pair+wolfer of altec lansing ACS33 speakers.

heh. I'll take my incoming pair of Paradigm Monitor 9's any day. ;) (Sorry, just so happy about finding such a great price on a new pair, in rosewood nonetheless!)

I just bought 2 Athena speakers.. I think I can safely say that they will blow the Z560's away... but then again, there are only two of them.. and with the receiver, it cost almost $600...

so you win.

nevermind

well i wouldn't say high fidelity:p but they do sound decent. basically they are one of the best things most young kids are exposed to, easy to impress at that stage;) u get older and experience nicer stuff to empty ur wallet and spoil ur ears hehe.

it happened to me. for a while i thought these cruddy headphones i had were da bomb, i see em as cr@p now. my cambridge microworks were amazing for a while, then i needed better. then i got klipsch etc :)

i still prefer the klipsch over the z560s, but then again i listen to a wide variety of music:p

but i guess its a good trend pushing audio manufactuers to aim higher. 10 years ago basically no kids had a subwoofer, let alone one that pounded like that:p and for computer speakers too:p too bad price performance ratios havn't improved in other areas.
