OMG!!! I found free money!

Here's the story. I use a hotmail account for spam and such, and never give out my "real" e-mail address for subscri[ptions to anything.

In the last year or so I never logged into my Hotmail account as I never needed to, and hotmail turned it off. I ened up using this hotmail account to join SETI and of course, I forgot my password. I re-activated the account, and got my password yesterday.

I used the account today to sign up for a free service that sent the Password to your e-mail. I log back in and see the usual list of 60 some odd spam messages that hotmail does nto filter out. (yes 50 that did not get filtered in about 24 hours. 18 more got put in my junk mail folder. )

Well anyway while I was looking for the e-mail I wanted I saw one from Paypal. It seems that I used this e-mail to sign up for a paypal account and that in the last 24 hours they sent me an e-mail saying that I still had cash in it

I go and check, and I find $36 bucks I never knew I had! Whohoo!! Unfortunately, my other paypal account is a merchant account, so I will loose 2.9% when I transfer it. Maybe I will just find something for $36 that I don't need and call it even

What are the odds that in that 24 hr span I would get that e-mail

Just had a similar experience with paypal! Checked an old e-mail, under which I'd signed up for paypal, and there was an e-mail saying I had $30 in the account. This is just the sign I was waiting for to begin implementing my foolproof plan for world domination! And now, I have the funding for it, too!

I found $40 dollars on the sidewalk one day while walking home from school when I was in 8th grade.

It definitely brightens up your day!



Edit: By the way, I made a little detour on the way home that day and picked up a couple of CDs and some other stuff.

I got one of those sample checks that come with junk mail for $25. Unfortunately it had non-negotiable and non-redeemable written all over it.

I find pennies and other coins on the ground all the time, and i stop to pick them up, i just counted my change jar, and in the past 5 years, i made $75 just by doing that
