I know it's completely immature, and that it's mostly scripted stuff,

BUT i can't stop watching 'Jersey Shore"

Seriously I 'm too old for this.... and kinda feel like an old lady..:hmm:

ALSO what does Juicing mean in this context? Does it mean alcohol, or steroids??

Like when:

-- you cant' stop staring at an ugly chick...

-- you can't stop staring at a fat chick...

-- you pinch yourself and like it...

-- good contrast to how awesome your life is.

MAYBE i have masochistic tendencies.. :sneaky:

I have yet to watch any of that show other than what I've seen on the Soup.

And as far as I know juicing is roids.

Don't have cable or directv any more & don't miss television at all. However, whenever I had to reset the directv box (i.e. power outage), the first thing I did was went through & blocked about 70% of the channels. The vast majority that I blocked were shopping channels, religion channels & other crap. But MTV was always at the top of the list of channels to block.

Why would I purposely watch something that sucks? I'll NEVER watch a reality TV show. They are lazy producers trying to get a pass by putting out garbage.

Feeling left out, I had to watch it cuz all my co-workers and boss were talking about it a lot and I had no idea why the hell they were rambling about a bunch of idiots. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in :(

This was when Snooki got clocked by the drunk guy.

The reason I hate shows like Jersey Shore, Housewives of Whatever County, and other shows like them is because they glamorize selfish, lazy, immature behavior with a complete lack of morals. When I watch TV, I want to see a hero fighting some wrong, not a bunch of self self righteous punks and wenches seeing how angry they can get the other self righteous punks and wenches. I want to see influences that can be looked up to...something lacking in most of the TV programing out there today.

What really makes me angry about these shows is they are getting HANDSOMELY rewarded for acting like this. It's telling people "If you act like a total jerk, you'll go far!" Reality shows are the new heros of today's TV, and they're very poor examples of people to look up to. My daughter and her friends actually sit around and talk about how they're going to get their own reality show when they get older. Here I've spent my life doing the "right" things- getting an education, getting a good job, making and providing for a family, and the freaks on these shows are making more per episode than I do in a year. How can you compete with that?

The only shred of satisfaction I have is that when these shows are cancelled in a year or two, they'll all be doomed to the "Gary Coleman School of D-List Celebrity Hard Knocks", and their skilless, ab ridden, leathery tanned bodies will be forced to get minimum wage jobs to get by.

I had a friend on Facebook like this. Daily drama and really impressive mood swings, gratuitous use of foul language, uploading pics of herself half-nude, uploading pics of her fairly hot daughter in bikinis on Spring Break (best part of the whole deal).

I was horrified and yet couldn't tear myself away, either. Then I was horrified that I couldn't tear myself away. She got a little pissy with me a couple times after leaving a comment on post she had made, so I decided it was time to de-friend before I told the crazy bitch what I really thought of her.

Then I was horrified that I kinda missed the drama for the next few days. We do like a good albeit revolting spectacle, don't we?
