Trying to run a Google search (like I do 100 times a day):

"403 Forbidden
Your client does not have permission to get URL /search?hl=en&q=aa from this server. (Client IP address: xx.xx.xx.xxx)

Unfortunately, Google has received a significant amount of abuse from your network. Because some person or people on your network have violated our Terms of Service (http://www.google.com/terms_of_service.html) and sent us numerous automated search queries, we have been forced to shut off access to Google's services from your network.

We have not yet been able to work this problem out with your sysadmin or your ISP's network and/or abuse department. Please contact your sysadmin or your ISP's network and/or abuse department and request that they track down who is causing this problem with Google.

We apologize for the inconvenience to you, and we hope we'll soon be able provide search results to you once more."

I'm on Roadrunner in Florida...
CRAP!!!
WTF is this? I rely on Google for everything! NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

:(:|:(:|:(:|

No, this is NOT an April fools joke! I am very mad right now!

Edit: Just confirmed with a friend that lives about 5 miles away and he is getting the same thing :(

That ok dude, just use an anonymous surf site. Basically you type the URL you want to view into their site and the data goes through their network instead of yours...

Try it:
Google.com through Anonymizer.com

There are hundreds out there, just do a search on google.com and..... ohhhh nevermind, that was just a cruel joke on my part. :)

Anyway, do search for "Anonymous surfing" and find one that works for you. Anonymizer.com sucks cuz they only let you do a url or two, then make you try to register. So You'll want to find another.

google.com is doing the right thing. Get on the people at rr to have them solve the problem. This is their problem after all.

WAY TO GO GOOGLE!!! I love this :)

IF only more companies were willing to do this we could have fewer security problems on the net...

Unfortunately, Google and AnandTech Forums seem to be the only ones willing.
