OMG. DO NOT update MSI BIOS

We just put together a comp with an MSI P35 Platinum motherboard. After installing all the drivers, we did auto update on MSI motherboard.

What a mistake. The new bios just killed the computer and wouldn't start again. So i searched for it and it's a common problem.

I think one I updated is a 1.3.

we spent two hours to recover but no luck.
Now I have to go buy a floppy driver and the cable tomorrow. How can MSI let this happen? Unbelievable.

updating a bios from windows with any brand can be troublesome, I have had luck with msi and asus but others have killed there boards and its always better to update from a floppy or usb key.
