jebus. i have to cover at my friend's store because she is studying for her exams and i have to use dial up. i love my cable connection so much now 🙁

I had to experience the pain the other day. I was at my aunt's fixing her comp and needed to get some updates. After an hour I got so impatient I told her it would be quicker for me to take the comp to my house and get all the updates on my cable line.

I'm still on the dial-up at home and it's fine for cruising on the internet and checking email.
Not when the website has a lot of content that needs to be downloaded (i.e. flash or images).

Everyone will notice how slow something is when they go back to it after having such great speed. Its like going from using an Athlon 64 system to using an original Pentium, your impatience meter will be at 10 🙂

Remember what sex was like when it was just you? Now think of what sex was like when you added another person.
Same difference between dial up and high speed.

I once had to move from an area that had 10mbit cable modem service to an area with no broadband for 2 whole years. The was the worst 2 years of my life...

I just run home, download them to my pen drive and run back.
