meh, online help determined that i had a 'configuration error' and refered me to the 'helpdesk'. when i called the 'helpdesk' i got a nice woman who spoke to me in american english. i explained that the hardware wasn't working properly with its driver. she said i wasn't in the right place and that tech support was full of morons.

I spent a total of over 9 hours on the phone trying to get them to exchange my defective 2001FP. This was a brand new one I ordered from them that came defective.
9 FVKCING HOURS

If you're spending 9 hours on the phone with tech support, sounds like the problem may hav been on your side of the phone. Either you didn't state your problem well enough, escalate if necessary, or just hang up and try a different rep. This is all assuming a legitimate defect.
