OMG, CS admins who abuse their power seriously piss me off...

The thing I hate is when a server insists on having all these "hilarious" sounds so that the admins can play them to try and be funny... when it takes like... 5 minutes to download them and by the time you do, the server gets filled up. ARGGHH.

There's gotta be a way to turn THAT off, right?

Yes, there is, and it's well documented. Steam Forums

I gave up on CS years ago. I suggest you do the same.

These days I am enjoying Call of Duty 2 and the original COD which is punkbuster enabled which is good for keeping cheaters out. Cheaters ruined CS a long time ago and COD2 is getting messed up right now but is supposedly gonna get pb added soon.

Stupid little punk kids like to ruin everybodies good times which is why I only play on servers with active adult admins and pb enabled(if given the choice).

I got banned on one server for playing on the zombie side of the zombie horde mod. The mod allows for forcing everyone on the human side, so I was banned because they didn't lock the zombie side or tell me they didnt want people to be zombies. But I spose it's their server and they can run it however they want.
