OMG call of duty demo rocked!

The demo was awesome....way too short, though.

I like how you have to drop a weapon to pick up another instead of carrying around a truckload of weaponry.

IMO the demo is jsut as good as BF1942... I will wait until I see the rest but it looks like it could be every bit as good if not better than 1942.

Of course there is. You also have to consider that the gameplay of these two games, and the concept in general, is very different. I used to be a huge BF1942 fan, but lately it just isn't appealing anymore. Ive playd the Call of Duty demo more than 15x now, at least 5x a day. I like it that much. I am possibly considering preordering it.
 
Yah you can't really compare it to BF1942, they are completely different styles of WW2 shooters. BF1942 is more about multiplayer and vehicles and sacrifices graphics for huge environments.

I've played the Call of Duty demo about 15 times now myself. It's best on veteran level. I still don't think the weapons are deadly enough, I'm sick of hitting some guy in the chest, seeing him fall to his knees but get right back up. My favorite thing to do on the 3rd flak panzer is to sneak along the right side, whack the guy with the MG42, then turn it on the flak panzer crew 🙂

Hell yes! Ive just started doing that sneaking up on the last mg42 guy and then using it on the tank crew. Ive noticed though that there are still 2 or so guys hiding from your gun fire. After shooting for damn near a minute, i went over there and they were hiding on the ground. I wonder if that was the AI being sweet or just coincidence.
 
Check all the weapons you find too. You can get a sweet automatic German sniper rifle, and I have heard one of your squaddies has a BAR (I haven't seen it myself yet tho).
