Wow... what an amazing game. The Astros have been giving us Houstonians one amazing post-season.

First we win the wild card.
Next we beat the Braves in the longest playoff game and best game ever.
Now we are 1 game away from our first trip to the World Series and we're playing at home!

Man, it just doesn't get any better.... oh wait, it does! If we win the World Series it will be one amazing story.

GO 'Stros!!!!

Yep....
I love the tag at home base knocking out Albert Pujoles!
I jumped out my damn seat when that happened!
Then I was worried when they had Walker steal 3rd.

But DAMN.... that double play at the end was SCCHHHWWWEEEETTTT!!!!

Perfect teamwork from the Astros... they deserve to be in the world series. True non-selfish hard working professional baseball players.

Its gearing up to be a good World Series this year. If its Astros vs. White Sox, it'll be a team who has never been to the series vs. another who hasn't been since 59. Good stuff.

I have heard that even the commentators were blown away by the HP umpires strike zone. Cards are my, favorite team, and in no way am i a sore loser; but it seems like the cards should have won this. You dont see TLR get that angry unless something is seriously screwed up.

I like the Astros and will root for them if they make the WS, but its pretty bad the way the Cards are going out.

I said the Cubs had a series once in this same situation.

🙁

Oh god... if that happens to us... that would be the same as when the fvkin' Houston Oilers threw away a 35 point lead to the Bills for a trip to the Super Bowl. That day, I quit being a Houston Oiler fan. Though my Texans suck... I kinda expected it since they are new. Hopefully time and a better head coach will change that.

However, if my 'Stros fail me now... oh man... talk about killing our citys morale. There will be a lot of disgruntled fans if we blow a 3 game lead. Saying that, I fully believe we will pull it off.

There've been some screwy calls from umps (for both sides in the NLCS) in the past few games. It's just part of the game.

It's like the blown third strike call in the ALCS a few games back... you can't blame an entire game on the ump when your team failed to produce big runs in the other eight innings.

Just like you can't blame Bartman for the Cubs failing to bounce back. They certainly had PLENTY of opportunities.

Heh. Speaking of Texans, I can't believe how bad they looked tonight. They look like they're getting worse with more experience.
