OMG... Anyone watch Trading Spouses today?

If it's the one I'm thinking of, they interviewed her on a radio station down here. She sounded much more well-adjusted in person, but she was still a bit fanatical.

She needs to be crucified like the lord that she loves so much, too bad she'd break the cross before they ever got it up.

I caught part of the the commercial where she screams something out to the tune of "I am a God warrior!"

Martha Stewart?

No. Just...No.

I personally think that these people are nuts. Leave 'em be; at least they're not the KKK.

That said, if one of them starts preaching at me, I'll start extoling the virtues of fornication.

May as well fight fire with fire, right?

She seems very much like my friend's stepmother who somehow roped his poor dad into marrying her after his wife (her cousin) died. My friend was a senior in HS, and he got out as soon as he could to go to college, but his poor brother and sister had to suffer for years with her insanity. She made everyone miserable, including their dad. One day, after she found the little brother's Playboys and destroyed his room, smashing his stereo, and TV, along with smashing his "Satanic" records, dad finally had enough, and changed the locks on the house when she went to visit her mother overnight a few days later, and laid divorice papers on her a few days after that. She tried and tried to get the house and custody of the girl, who was about 7 or so. When the judge, when he asked her who she wanted to live with, "If I can't live with my dad, could I be an orphan instead?" The judge asked her why, and she said, Well, it would probably be better than living with Cathy!" Needless to say, she didn't get custody and much of anything else out of the marriage. Two years later, my friend's dad married again, and she was ok, they were married until he died about 25 years later.

IMO, Cathy was about as insane and evil as people get.

Know what was most incredible about that whole show?? The man she was living
with (and his wife) were probably 100 times more spiritual than she was....she was
judgemental, closed minded and basically a freak, as were all her friends...they
were even judging the "normal" mom, when they first met her...

People like that will learn (probably too late), that it isn't about always saying the right
words, or going to the right church..it's all about living your life and making things
better while you're here. Being a spiritual "being", who believes in God, or who
honors the earth, or who treats people with kindness and love is what matters in
life....

And as for psychics being a "tool of the devil"...I know one (in fact I live with one)
and she is the most spiritual and beautiful person I know. She appreciates her earth
and her surroundings, and most importantly believes in God and tries to honor him
every day....does she do it by being a contradictory/judgemental hypocrite?? Nope,
that's reserved for people like this lunatic!!!!
