No, there is no UFO. But some nutjobs out there seem to think there was supposed to be one today. Here's a link to the youtube video I saw discussing this nonsense:

Apparently people all over the world are waiting for this giant UFO to make an appearance today. Google "Galactic Alliance of Light" and "Blossom Goodchild".

Just goes to show baby boomers are reaching dementia in droves.

Well... given the Pope fellow said it was ok to believe in Aliens I'd say invite them. In any event, If there was a ship big enough to cart the NYC folks off I'd say it was a good place to start... I'd like to someday go back there to the place of my youth and see what a peaceful place it could be. :D

On my way home from the strip last night, I saw something strange in the sky like a huge disc shaped object. It turned out to be the moon behind a disc shaped cloud.

couldn't they just wait 17 days & show up on Halloween ?

they'd be welcomed with tons of free chocolate. of course, their
digestive system could be like a dog's, so free chocolate could be
