holy crap. that kid could really play. he wasn't doing anything fast or complicated, but he was solid, and for 4 years old? unREAL.

Here's another kid called Tony Royster Jr. I saw him on a TV show awhile back. It was pretty amazing. He's older than that first kid, but much more advanced in his playing.

Ive seen this one too and he is quite good but older as you said. The 4 year old yes it may be a little repeditive but come on he is 4, and his playing is solid and in time from all I have seen. I have a 5 year old and in no way would I see him doing that, love my son dearly but he is not gifted in the drums and I have let him play and nothing like the 4 year old is played. I play the drums, not in any way proffesionally just for a hobby, and the 4 year old passes me up big time and im 31 years older then he is. Just think what he would be doing by the time he is my age.

I mean this kid is 4 and has that kind of timming with his hands and feet, at 4 years old, did I mention hes only been alive for 4 years and you can bet the 3 years up to the 4th he was pooping in a diaper and here is is on stage playing the drums and he has no clue what he has ahead of him if he keeps it up. His life is already set at the age of 4 and doubt he will have to worry about what job he will be doing. I just love the first link where there is a break and he busts out that smile, priceless, then back into the jam.

OH and yes the 12 year old is amazing as well and thanks for the longer link. Never saw that one. Much appreciated.

Oh, no question. I wasn't discounting the 4 year old at all. What he can do at that age is quite impressive.

What Tony Royster Jr. was doing at age 12 was far beyond what most adult drummers can do that have been playing all their lives (his double bassing towards the end of the video I posted is phenomenal), but the 4 year old certainly seems to have the ability to catch up to him one day

Slick beat me to it! Tony's pretty amazing...

And yes funboy, after watching this, I too will be joining you and offering up a set of vintantage Ludwig shells to the sacrificial fire.

BTW, I'm an active gig-ing musician and consider myself semi-professional and I'm thoroughly impressed by this kid!

JR..

Thats cool. Looking around the room, checking out his rig...smiling to someone to his left during the performance....this kid is HOT🙂
