Omg, 3 finals in one day...

...I just finished 3 finals in one day, to close out the semester at my college. I want to crawl into a cave and vegetate for about 500 years.

1st final: Introduction to Java

2nd final: Introduction to Ordinary Differential Equations

3rd final: Philosophy: Truth & Knowledge

1st and 3rd finals weren't too bad, but my Diff. Eq. class had the hardest instructor of any Diff. Eq. courses at any of the surrounding colleges. I looked at my friend's exams and assignments for the other Diff. Eq. instructor's class, it was a freaking joke. Half their final was take home, plus they got to write essays on how they would explain to a friend how to solve a Diff. Eq. using a Laplace Transform (give me a break). Meanwhile I get a comprehensive final with surprise problems involving proofs.

Piling the 1st and 3rd finals all into one day with the Diff. Eq. final was hell. I'm just glad it is all over.

Now everyone is going to tell me I don't have it so bad, yadda yadda (contrarions always to the rescue, eh?).

i believe my school has the same policy that if you get three in one day, you can get one changed and the professor MUST allow you to take it on another day

Lucky you. I don't think any such rule exists at my college.

Ummm... there are 3 different times for finals at your school? Here you have either morning or afternoon finals, so it's impossible to get 3 in a day. If you have 4 in a day, they allow you to defer one; I'm sure they would have allowed you to defer one of yours, btw.

how long are you finals? we have three blocks:

8-11
11:30 - 2:30
3-6

Nope. Not here. The final lands on the last day of the course, which for me, today happened to be the last day for all three of my courses.

The reason why is that my Java & Diff. Eq classes met on Tu & Thurs., while my Philosophy class was Thursday night. So all three classes ended today.

i had neural networks final in the morning, engineering economics 2 final in the afternoon and digital image & video processing final in the evening =P

therefore... i feel your pain =P

how long are you finals? we have three blocks:
8-11

Ours are 9:00-12:00 and 2:00 - 5:00
I had Computer Engineering and Electronic Circuits in the same day this semester, I was not a fan of that situation but it worked out ok.
