I'm pissed, Ok, well I thought my hard drive was making noises so I turn of the PC, Turns out its from Outside, Its a god damn car horn that has been on for 15mins str8 now, my dad here waken up from the noise, I called the cops 10mins ago, where the fvck are they? I cant sleep damnit!!

I know logic is hard and all, but if the owner doesn't hear it and it is parked there, it's unlikely they are at home waiting on a phone call. There is really NOTHING the police can do except for contacting the owner, but I'll bet the alarm stops before anyone can be called.

Again, how are they going to find the owner at this time of night if he can't hear his own alarm? It seems the owner is out of town, passed out drunk, or not in that area. Plus, disturbing the peace? Haha. That's rich. Maybe I'm being an ass, but I don't think calling the police for a car alarm is going to help much. BTW, how are you doing tonight ylen13?

the reason i said about 15min rule is that it happened to one of my neighbors, your area or his area laws could be different but around here they usually tow the car. Now regarding the last part of your statement, who is ylen13 as i haven't seen his post so i am not sure why you referring to me as "ylen13"

Edit: if local laws don't permit cops to tow, they at least can have tow guy disconnect the battery

I'd think it would be more effective to strangle whoever's alarm is going off. I take back what I said. Call the cops and get them to come out. Get the morons address from them(you can beg), then go find them and strangle them.
