Newegg has the 73GB version listed for $495. So I'd say, nope. It's fast, it's SCSI, it's high end. You DO NOT want that in your PC. :)

You've never had high end (for the time) HDs in your system, have you? To get an idea, fire up a dremel tool to max speed, toss it in your case. And enjoy :)

Ok ok.. besides the noise/vibration (which my case has plenty of already) i see no other negatives but the $$$

LOL, I remember when my dad upgraded his PC from an 80MB harddrive to a 380MB SCSI monster. That capacity was unheard of back then. You could hear that drive across the street.

anyone know if a matx asus s754 board supports scii? i found 1 18gb drive for like $50 might try it out.
