*No flash, java, or WMP support. Bye bye internet.
I understand that you would want all these things, but things need to change so flash is not the dominant applications. It is a resource hog. Why would you need WMP support? You have Quicktime embedded.
So the iphone is going to change the internet? LOL! Guess Ill be enjoying youtube, hulu, and so much more content by myself.

*No turn by turn guidance for GPS. Whats the point?
Buy a GPS. The iPhone can't be a phone and your GPS receiver. The GPS is just for quick "Where am I?" moments. Ruins the battery.
Why cant the iphone when so many other phones can? Pure and simple, Apple doesnt have a way to charge for it yet. As soon as they release the app, Im sure they will announce "we improved the gps function with our new navigator software", and the iclones everywhere will rejoice and sing praises to Steve's name!

*No tethering.
That is annoying, but I don't think AT&T would allow Apple to let them enable that feature. It is more an AT&T thing than an Apple thing.
If it was a AT&T thing, how come they havent disabled it for their Windows Mobile or Blackberry devices. Heck, using MPT, you can turn the crappiest motorola phone into a modem.

Then why havent they done it yet? People have been complaining about this since the original release.

*2 meg camera? You would think a phone like this would have 3. And NO VIDEO RECORDING. WTF?
The camera is just for taking shots when you don't really need great pictures. When you do just take out your camera. Video recording can be enabled either through a software update or an app.
Just for taking quick shots when you dont want decent pics? Someone forgot to tell Nokia, SE, and HTC, because they have phones with up to 5mp resolutions that take some pretty damn nice pictures.

Use headphones. Battery hog...
Sure, bluetooth headphones will never beat a good headset in sound quality, but for many people, its more convenietnt to be wireless.

*STILL no replacable battery or flash card.
How is this any different from an iPod? At least this time they have the screws showing and the battery is soldered on.
Your 16gb seems like alot now, but what about in a year. Already we are seeing 32gb and 64gb sd cards, and Sandisk is scheduled to release 16gb and 32gb microsd cards this year. Since many WM and some Symbian phones are being released with 8gb flash memory, and have microsd slots, that means up to 40gb storage. And not being able to have a extended battery or user replaceable battery may turn off heavy users like buisnesses.

Move to their network then. They both use EV-DO which is naturally faster.
Actually, HSDPA is capable of being about twice as fast as EVDO, but At&t hasnt rolled it out in the states. But does the iphone 3g even support HSDPA 7.2?

This is not supposed to be replacing your computer at home. It is more a consumer device than a business device. But this can be fixed with a software update.
Thats the dumbest thing Ive read in a list of dumb things.

Download one from the App store or make one yourself.
*No MS Exchange support. Therefore, Outlook and Exchange contacts cant co-exist
Software update.
Why hasnt it been done yet? Apple knows ppl have wanted it since the iphone was released. Also, what about BES support? Blackberry and WM (thru a app) have it.
