I just got my new Sennheiser HD280 pro headphones in the mail and I must say they ROCK. I'm listening to Abbey Road right now and I keep getting chills. It is so immersive and clear and I can hear things that weren't there before with my old cheap phones. All I can say is WOOT!

They aren't in stock at amazon, but I got em at www.jandr.com 75 bucks shipped, which is five bucks less than amazon. The forums at www.headwize.com were a great help in making my purchase decision by the way.

You using a soundcard or cd player with them? Which one? Does it drive them loud enough?

I'm using the oldskool soundblaster live which does the job pretty good. I'm no expert though. When everthing is turned up all the way I feel like my head will explode, so ya I think thats loud enough.
