My parents instilled a great work ethic in me, which is why I think I've acheived so much in my life. I started out at UPS during college as a package handler, working 3:00 a.m. - 7:00 a.m. 5 nights a week. I slowly moved up the ranks and finally became a driver last year, and I'm making damn good money ($22.50/hr.).
Now I've got some numbnuts trying to get into my pants on my delivery route.
The guy is a self-made 'millionaire,' or at least that's what he tells me. The fact is, he lives in a very nice house, but his 'office,' where I deliver his packages, is in the basement, and he always talks to his 'maid,' who, truthfully, looks like his mom. This leads me to believe he's living in his parents' basement. And all I ever deliver are packages from Newegg and some weird company called "Pleasure-Filled Enterprises, Inc."
To tell you the truth, the guy gives me the creeps.
So I get the feeling he's going to ask me out sometime this week, as he's been hinting around at it for the last couple days. He flexes his arms when he opens the door, and he does it in a weird way that makes him look like an ape! Ugh, it seriously creeps me out.
How can I let him down lightly without making future deliveries to his 'office' into awkward situations?
The fact that you have no life other than to create parody threads creeps me out.
