RAMBO is back ? and he?s gunning for terror chief Osama bin Laden.

Hollywood veteran Sylvester Stallone is returning as the warrior hero after writing a script himself.

Rambo IV is expected to hit cinemas next year, featuring action in Afghanistan and battles with the Taliban.

A movie insider said: ?The original story had Rambo killing bin Laden single-handed, but even Sly thought that was beyond the imagination.

?Instead he will be the brains behind bin Laden?s downfall.?
The idea has been talked about since the September 11 attacks. But bosses at Miramax, makers of the original Rambo, have only just agreed to the project.

Stallone, 56, made £8million per film in his 1980s heyday, but has not had a hit for years.

He is also making a comeback in his other famous role, as a boxing champ in Rocky VI.

I predict that this will not trigger his comeback. It will be another second rate "B" movie. He will make money, but his day is done.

How times do we have to sit thru shots of him running slo-mo towards the cam with an explosion in the background? How many times will it take for everyone to realize his acting skills are barely above that of Ahnold?

Back in my youth I thought Rambo versus Commando would be awesome.

For those that don't know, Commando was a Arnold movie that kicked much ass

Have you see the credits of the movie. It thanks the Afgan people for their bravery. You are absolutely right about how times change.

You're right. This matchup is actually more fitting to the Rambo vs Terminator. Ahnold was actually VERY GOOD.....when he played an emotionless robot . And with the money that was dumped in to it and the FX, ihmo it narrowly makes it as a "A" flick.
