I can't remember the specific quote, but if anyone read the interview Rolling Stone did with her a couple of months ago when she was on the cover, she apparently is a pretty tomboyish home girl-type and the glamming up she did for her videos was because of her record company.

Everyone takes a bad picture once in a while, and some of those UK rags are notorious for putting the most godawful, non-airbrushed, zits-and-all shots on their covers. They have some different standards for "cover material" than the US does, I think. If that pic had appeared on Entertainment Weekly, they'd have airbrushed the heck out of her and you certainly wouldn't be seeing those curly hairs at the top of her pants (ewww).

I'm trying to understand how a woman not shaving her pubes is 'sick'? Exactly where is it written 'Thou shalt shave thy pubes'? Do you shave your genitals? Sure, some people do, but it's not exactly a worldwide phenomenon dude.

Actually, I don't understand why people are so grossed out by that. It's not like she has a big afro down there peeking out. We're all being brainwashed to disliking the natural body. Everybody is shaving all their natural body hairs so we're being conditioned to be repulsed by our natural body.

When I was young, I remember feeling odd because I didn't have any chest hairs. As an asian I have very little body hair (except my lower legs seem to be hairy and I have a little "happy trail" from the bottom of my belly button). Hair on the chest used to be considered a sign of being a man. Now, it's considered gross (I think hair on the back was always considered to be a bit much).

Now I kind of feel sorry for the men who naturally have hair on their chests.

Same thing with women -- we're all being conditioned to like a pre-pubesent look on girls.

Tori Amos has WAY more talent then Alicia and writes all her own stuff.

Tori might not be as hot, but she does have the Fire Down Under it you no what I mean.
