Where the hell are the pics?!?! We have rules for a reason, people.

And all you guys with "lists" need to man up. My woman gives me a list and I'll be all like "Hey woman, make me a sandwich. And some pie." 😀

To make it worse, I have 6 computers in the home, 3 laptops, 3 desktops and she'll just randomly hop on one and create one of these documents, I use the majority of these computer for just what the hell ever and will try out new OS's or do testing on them, which means I'll rebuild them on a regular basis, but not knowing that she's placed irreplaceable files on them, then she gives me shyte for not knowing that she put some unknown file of some unknown name in some unknown folder and formatting the computer!!

domain controller + force her to log in + give her a roaming profile amongst all machines + store her profile on a file server that you don't "rebuild" often + give her no write permissions outside of her "my documents" directory on the file server, FTW !!!
 
She's angry because she could have had someone better with you, but decided to go with a computer nerd instead.

She then found out that you weren't even a good computer nerd and she is wasting her life.

I'd feel the same if I were here. I think you're lucky (if she's hot that is).

Tell her clearly anything you do, want, make or wish to save goes IN HERE. If its not IN HERE I am not liable for it.

Thats what I did. I made a folder just for my wife. She can put anything she wants in it, and I back it up with other important data when I do my backups.
And she knows, if it aint in that folder its fair game. Period. End of story. You put it in My Documents, it may or may not be there when you come back because I rebuild/cleanup my PC quite often.

Well I've actually come up with a solution, she now has her own laptop that is all hers, she doesn't use my other computers and I don't touch hers unless it needs fixin or updates or something like that.

This came up today though because she made some file like 3 months ago on one of the six computers and of course it is no where to be found.
