lol. You need to learn how to live. I'm sure you have acquaintances, did you try asking them what's going down?

Also, even if the music is shitty, the people get shitty, and it's always a good time. You need to step outside of your comfort(misery) zone and live a little. Life isn't going to knock on your front door, you have to go out and find it.

Most people I like to do anything with are 180 miles away. People where I live I mostly despise.

Not really. I've been around and I don't like these things at all. It is boring.

I met a kid like you in college.. He promptly dropped out and went home to play video games because he was completely unable to do anything that involved interacting with other people and was thus unable to meet anyone new. Good luck with life!

Oh yes, go out to a restaurant by myself and pay lots of money for something I don't need to eat. SOUNDS SO GREAT.

Go listen to shitty live music and pay while I am at it... Or better yet, go to a free one where no one is listening and its still shit and boring... All I get to do is listen to some shit music and sit/stand. SOUNDS LIEK F4N 2 M3.

lol, no. I have it all figured out, and there is nothing to do here that I would want to do.

If you had friends, you could have a good time just hanging out anywhere. Oh wait... You live in a great city like Seattle with tons of stuff going on and all you can do is come up with excuses for being a loser.

It's not the city, it's you. You would have excuses for being a loser where ever you lived.

I feel for you, dawg, I really do. If you've looked at life and found it boring, quit complaining, you've made your choice. What the hell do you expect to happen?

Figure that out, and I can help you figure out how to make it happen.

Rent is cheap. Location is damn good.

You get smaller spaces, worse conditions, have to deal with people, and pay more than me at similar locations.

Yet, you're too lazy to get a job to pay the rent and you're moving back home to your parent's basement.

Same reason he did. He got tired of always sitting in his dorm room doing nothing. Despite the fact that we tried to get him to do things (group of us that had just met, freshman year) he would absolutely never do anything social..

You seem to be the same way..

It's the weekend and you have a car. What's your excuse for not doing something with these people?

When I lived in NYC, I used to drive to DC, Boston and Western MA to hang-out with friends on the weekends when I didn't do something in the city.

Which brings us at last to the moment of truth, wherein the fundamental flaw is ultimately expressed, and the anomaly revealed as both beginning, and end.

lol. The problem is not just with me. People here are not modest and are quite pompous. A lot of them think they are right, best, and just. I listen to what they say and every time I feel like nuking them from orbit. It is how Seattle people are.

I don't go to school for social activity. So, maybe that's where me and him differ? I'm a very capable person, so if I want to get a degree... I will.

Yeah... I'm not wasting $50 for gas, then paying for food when I am out, then things I have to go to, and then whatever else comes up.

IIRC, I can't get a job and will not be able to pay my rent soon. Your logic: astounding.

I guess me and him are different. I'm capable of going to school and not having any social activity.

So.... they're just like you... and since you hate yourself, you hate them.

Except they're wrong and I am right. I get to listen to a bunch of wannabe hippies, religious nutfucks, overly stupid anti-religious nutfucks(anti-religion people are OK but these guys have no logic to their arguments), and fucking yuppies. I am none of those. Also, I am fucking modest and not pompous at all. At least I'll put that on when I am around people even if I think internally different. These people are nothing like me... I enjoy me. Me is funny. These people suck at funny.

You do realize that is how you come across here, however, we know better. And no, you won't get a degree, at least nothing more than an Associates degree.

tbh I agree with TridenT here. You don't have to meet people to stay in college. I'm a senior now and have gone all my time without having a single conversation outside things directly school related, and have had no problems. You just don't understand us nerdy virgin types.

No, i understand that completely. I know plenty of people that dont need/want social interaction.

The fact that Trident comes on here whining about it definitely makes it seem like he wants to do something.. yet doesnt want to do anything.

Can't? Outside of being mentally retarded, are you physically incapable of working? A normal person would want to get a job to pay rent, gas for the car, food, entertainment, etc. Not you though, enjoy that basement, hopefully your parents have stocked-up on the fruitloops.

Physically incapable, maybe. (Refer to: 150lb bench)

I want a Ferrari F430 Scuderia, but I certainly can't have it. Ditto, I want a McLaren F1 GTR, but I can't have it.

Sorry girly man but you can't, remember that thread when people bet you to bench 150lb and you came up with another excuse for not even trying to do?

My gf says you need to go volunteer or join meetup.com. I told her that you're too lazy and will just make-up an excuse.

I've tried meetup, there isn't anything on there that interests me. It's mostly outdoors groups(dislike), beer drinking groups(dislike, and underage), and people with pugs(dislikedislikedislike!).

Volunteering is not going to get me paid. Why would I do that when I need a job within the next... 3-4 weeks?

Oh and I didn't do it because I didn't have access to the gym IIRC.
