it was just before halftime and he just fell over and collapsed...i feel so bad for his family and friends...he was my coach's coach, and everyone was just balling...it was the absolute worst sports experience i ever had

that must've been some scary stuff.

i was on the subway once when someone turned pale and just passed out. I thought she died. I was freakin out cuz she was right next to me. but to watch someone die, i dont' think i could handle that.

"we all feel for you"

yeah right. No offense but no one here really feels for you -- most come in here to share their condolensces because they think it will make them a "better person," not because they know you or the ref who died or feel sorry for you or him.

The game sucked that bed, eh? :)

(Koni is somewhat right. I never met the guy, but I offer my condolences toward the family out of sheer respect. I hope they make it though this event as painless as possible.)

Someone almost hit me with his truck, if not for the foundation of a house which stopped, and wouldn't let his truck continue. When three of us got to his truck, his foot was still on the gas, the tires were spinning, and I looked at the speedometer and it said 50 mph, and there was earth spitting up everywhere. I looked at him, and all I saw was sheer terror. We stopped the truck, pulled the guy out, and he died of a heart attack right there....I'll never forget that look on his face...
