:Q :Q :Q Unbelievable! Comcast High Speed (hey, why are you guys snickering!?) Internet just opened up service in the DC area about a month ago, and the gentleman was working with the free-trial Comcast home install kit. I was asking my rinky-dink questions to find out what's going on, and he was like "look, get technical, boy, I don't have time to waste." and explained who he was and what else he had to do today. We had a little conversation off topic about the kinds of things he does and how he got the job at the WH

Incredible!!! :D

In other stories,
A few months ago, a guy I worked with here talked to a Congressional Medal of Honor winner from WWII who shot down 21 planes, etc. The guy was going to WestPoint to speak in a class and was argueing with the flight attendents about getting on the plane with his medal. Apparently you can "poke someone's eye out" with it. There was some big thing in the news and I remember Oli North going freaking nuts on his show when he heard about it.

We had a member of AT that use to be a Systems Admin or Web Developer for the White House and the CMH Recipient that took up issue over the airlines trying to confiscate his Medal of Honor is General Joe Foss, a South Dakota war hero (And the irony of that incident is that the Sioux Falls Airport named after him!)

when i worked as a telemarketer for citibank, a guy i knew called george w. bush....in midland texas. heh. when the person answered they said "mansion security." and the guy promptly apologized for having the wrong number :D ;)

anyways, this was during the campaign, and i was thinking of how crazy it would be if that ass actually became president :p and he had an extra card for laura bush, and another for a daughter, dont remember which. i wont say his credit line (dont need the secret service on my ass:p) but it wasnt that great, but not bad either. 10,000-15,000 range :p
