Seriously, if I see one more movie that says 'in 3d' Im going to punch my dog. The cute one.

Outside of Avatar there has never been one movie I actually enjoyed being in 3d. Is there really this much of a demand for 3d movies or is this shit just being forced on us?

There has not been another 3d movie.. Avatar is the only one.. All other '3d' movies were originally 2d movies converted to look like they were 3d. And they all look like total shit..

I'm hoping Toy Story 3 will be different since 3d cgi should be easier to do.

When I see ' in 3d ' it makes me not even want to see it in 2d. Maybe I would have originally, but knowing its offered in 3d pisses me off to no end. Now I see it in 0d, bitch.

Avatar used it well (just to add a little depth to the picture, as opposed to making it gimmicky and annoying), but every other movie has been cheesy and terrible in 3D. The one thing I didn't like, even in avatar, was how dim it appears, and that it gives me a headache after a while.

Yeah, this is all about the money. It had nothing to do with whats good or best or even what people want. We will get it whether we like it or not. And we will pay for it.

And like the Crest bottle above, EVERYONE will capitalize on the new fad, regardless of whether its related or not. Remember when everything had an HD attached to it, even if it was not applicable? We will see that again.

Or 2000 😀 A bunch of South Park episodes ended with 2000 for a while, they were going to do it for a whole season but they kind of lost interest.

Ahhh yes, 2000.
I remember growing up in the 80's damn near every product and service had a 2000 label on it. At the time it actually seemed quite cool. Now its just an obvious sign something is really damn old.

Yeah, I'm usually all for new entertainment technology, but this home 3D crap is not ready for prime time. The movie theater stuff isn't too bad if it's not forced, but now theaters are using it as a crutch. "SEE SEX IN THE CITY 2---IN 3D!!! YOU'LL BE AMAZED!!!"

I'll be happy to watch 3D...

It would have to be virtual reality/holographic projection though.

I watch most movies in 3D if I have the 3D option.

Then again I watch movies for free.

How to Train Your Dragon in 3D was actually pretty good.
