Where are your priorities, man? If you seriously want to skip school for Star Wars, you better promise yourself that you'll come back to finish, unless you seriously don't care about college.

Perhaps you may have an epiphany later on, but if Star Wars is your thing, then do it.

Otherwise, wait a month and watch it with the rest of us. I think I learned this thing in Kindergarten called "Delayed Gratification." It helps me get through the day.


 
omg i totally would have not gone to college so i could live in my parents' basement forever so i could maybe see someone that might have been in STAR WARS too! i mean its STAR WARS! if i could i would have sex with STAR WARS! especially luke skywalker, because he could use his jedi powers to make my penis bigger than 1/16th of an inch long!

Just to fan the flames....

I don't live in my parents basement, ive been living in an apartment since I was 18. I curretnly live in a dorm at a Comunity college, and if I can make it back by thursday I can catch all my finals. This is a two day event, Monday and Tuesday, I figure if I steal a car in the next hour I can get there by 6:30 PDT, Setup is at noon and we pass champaign at 5 IIRC (I didnt pay attention to details once Star Wars was mentioned, I think I dropped the phone, im not sure). Worst case is I miss the first day! Second worse case is I miss finals, I have such kick ass grades in two of my classes it wont matter, I dont even need to take the final ill still get a B if I get a 0 on it. 2/3 aint bad. Id have to quite my job a week early, but I can miss a weeks worth of paycheck.

You can retake a class anytime you want, but you can only relive a party once.

I think this works rather well in this case.
