I went to a Circuit City the other day and I saw a system with 1GB of ram. It had windows XP on it and no memory intensive apps like photo editing or something. btw it was an AMD XP system for around 2 grand. When do you think we will need 1GB? I have half that and I barely use 256MB of it when I have 15 ie windows open im running windows XP also. >>
Every day, computer gets fatter fatter and fatter in terms of storage/memory capacity and storage/memory demands. Unfortunately the days of doing simple task with 32MB is approaching its end.
Buying a computer is like climbing up an escalator thats going down.
You have to run very fast(pay alot) to get to the top, but you'll soon creep down to the bottom.
Many computers are fated to being under-used after a year or two.
Incidentally this is what's up with my Intel Inside machine
poor thing.
Anyone remember placing your previous machine like that once you had the current machine?
