It's Elvis' summer home. No doubt he'll be really upset people have found it, but knowing him he has another one on venus.

I'm far more inclined to believe that it was a simple object between the camera and the Martian surface. Quite a long distance.

Alternatively, the image quality is crap. So it may have a simple explanation instead of originating from a complex life form. In addition, even if it was, we may have built it, and if so, when?

At this point, it being an alien construct is quite simply the least possible explanation.

I get so giddy when I read pseudo-science articles like this. Can we send one of the last living rovers to investigate?

Do you have any concept of the distances involved? The rovers at their prime are incapable of such a journey. They are of no use here.

go on google mars

search: 71 49'19.73"N 29 33'06.53"W

mind= blown

Okay, I must be stupid, how do you search using coordinates on Google Mars? I just keep getting "No results found for 71 49'19.73"N 29 33'06.53"W" no matter what variation I use.

This guy is an assclown if you listen to the video in the OP's link. "zomg! I hope it's not a weapon!" "I don't know if NASA would it admit to it being theirs" 🙄

Google Mars is so low resolution and its not even funny. I've seem similar artifacts in Antarctica on Google Earth. From what I remember it is caused by overlapping of the images.

Why hasn't anyone with a decent telescope noticed "BioStation Alpha" as this guy calls it?
