Omega drivers

What do you guys know about omegadrivers? Should I try these to a boost in my games (Specifially HL2 and CS Source).

I currently have a 9800pro 128mb, and got a 17" 1280x1024 (had a 15" @ 1024x768 before). My move to a 17" LCD has reduced the playability of CS Source, I was wondering if these drivers could possibly help?
 
Not enough to matter. In fact, their optimized drivers based on the beta 4.12 catalyst were worse than the final release of 4.12. It also seemed like they didn't update very much. Jumped from 4.8 to 4.12. I would stick with catalyst.
 
Sounds like good advice, I think I was heading that was anyway, especially since catalyst drivers are at 5.1 (or so) now.

I dont really like the new Catalyst control panel, I think I might change over to the simpler one.
You think this matters at all?

Most people don't seem to like the CCC, I use the standard control panel still.
