if i have the omega driverse, do i need any kind of video card overclocking software? specifically coolbits. i know the the drivers already have the unlocked frequency changer, but will coolbits add more functionality?
If you're using an ATI card, the answer is no because the Omegas come with Radlinker which is good for overclocking, but I don't know about nVidia's omegas. Why don't you use coolbits anyway? There's also NVhardpage which provides many tweaks for nVidia users including overclocking.
